Pretty decent burger place! Ordered for pick up and when we got there (10-15 minutes after we ordered) the guy behind the counter said that the ticket just printed. Even though this place is a bit cramped, they have a ton of seating including an upstairs area with a large table as well. I order The Trotter. It was good! It had tons of caramelized onions and with a hint of sweetness, but it was a tad bit too oily for me.

Lil Woody's is the burger you think you're eating when you eat Dick's blacked out at 1 AM. Or Lil Woody's is like Five Guys if it went to Bowdoin for undergrad. Whichever review means something to you, go with that.

Prefacing this review by stating that I got a free burger as part of their Memorial Day special. It was a plain lil woody with onions and pickles. Burger was good! The party had a nice char that you could taste, and the bun (while not toasted much) still had a nice texture. Hard to mess up a simple burger. Some of the 3 star reviews mentioned the burger being dry and requiring copious amounts of sauce to be edible. That wasn't the case for me.

I'll start this off by saying that I'm typically not a burger person. However, this place is something different. First of all, the price point is great and super reasonable for the quality of the product. Their burgers are a little bit messy, and their buns aren't super toasty, but the patties are great, and the toppings that they offer are fantastic. My go-to now is The Trotter, with apples and bacon, caramelized onions, and horseradish sauce. I also like to add fig jam as an extra sometimes if I'm feeling like a little treat. Absolutely worth the $1, and they really slather it on there. They're not stingy about their topics. They lose a star because their fries are the saddest, soggiest fries I have ever seen or eaten. If you do not have an air fryer in order to fix these fries yourself, don't bother. But really, I don't want to be ordering fries from a restaurant so that I can cook them a second time at home. Their fries taste and feel like they are just gently boiled in oil. Not fried. No thanks! Their milkshakes are tasty. Their selection of sodas is on point. Service is quick.
